Thank you for an enlightening and wonderful experience.

I saw it on both opening (on Chinese New Year) and closing night and as my mother says, “it gets better every year”. For the four years that we have been seeing Shen Yun, I have to agree with her. I am looking forward to see what next year’s production brings!

Last year in DC my wife and I saw a Shen Yun performance and it was everything the dazzling advertisements said it would be to the dancing, the acrobatics, the music, the narration in between, the inventive back drop effects, the costumes, the sets. What a beautiful spectacle! A very professionally assembled performance. All that being said, WHY on earth when the performance has concluded does half the audience get up and split to the exits? (We NEVER witness that after a symphony concert.) What a massive insult to the performers taking their well-deserved bows to see all these people "getting out of Dodge". Why can`t everyone stay and applaud and show appreciation for a moving performance? It comes across as a "been there, done that" attitude. How demeaning to the performers! Is getting to your cars more important than showing some appreciation for a spellbinding presentation and all the exertion and creativity involved to do it? I do not understand it and I feel sorry for the performers seeing all that from the stage. Well, we ourselves loved it. WE stayed and applauded!!

Amazing

The artistry, hard work, props, costumes and dedication make this show incredible. We enjoyed it very much. However, I was very offended by the aggressive staff member who threatened to confiscate by daughter's cell phone. She was using it before the show and was in the process of turning it off. Another man in the audience was ordered to stop texting immediately during intermission. I understand the fear of having your show copied, but please have the staff be kind in asking for cell phones to be turned off.

Shen Yun is a must see - we thought it was majestic and high quality! The artistry of the whole performance blew me away, as the colors pop in every scene, and dancers float across stage in perfect rhythm with the music. Every piece was enjoyable and the meanings were timeless. Shen Yun as a whole was astonishing :)

Excellent show, both graceful and precise, and also very energetic. Interaction with backdrop visuals exceptional. The months of hard work and attention to the smallest detail of very complex dance routines is evident and well rewarded. Well done !

Took my best friend Dot to see Shen Yun in Liverpool. Great show. We both loved the music and dance and the way they were integrated with the backdrops. The little stories underlying the show made for a more rounded experience. Just a pity about the political/religious aspect - you would be even more successful without pushing that.
